Swedish singer and songwriter Chris Klafford (age 30) from Lindesberg, Sweden sang his original song “Cold at the Altar” during the quarterfinals round in America’s Got Talent 2019 (Season 14).
Though the audience responded greatly to Chris Klafford’s performance, the AGT judges were divided in their opinions. Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union were impressed, with Gabrielle saying she thinks America will vote for Chris. But Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel thought there was no emotional connection with Klafford’s song.
All of them agreed though, that Chris Klafford has a great voice and is a great singer. [See: AGT 2019 Chris Klafford audition | ‘Imagine’]
