Beatboxing group Berywam from France performed a remix of ‘Old Town Road’ and ‘O Fortuna’ at the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent 2019 (Season 14).
“Old Town Road” is a song by American rapper Lil Nas X while “O Fortuna” is a 13th-century poem set to music by the German composer Carl Orff.
Berywam’s performance received a standing ovation from the live audience at the Dolby Theatre as well as from AGT judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Julianne Hough, and Gabrielle Union.
Simon Cowell said some people may like Berywam’s performance, and some may not. But “there’s no questioning your talent,” he told Berywam. He said Berywam should be in the semifinals.
