Ansley Burns (age 13) from South Carolina gave a high-spirited rendition of country song Swingin’ during the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent 2019 (Season 14).
Swingin’ is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer John Anderson, released in 1983. LeAnn Rimes released her own popular version in 2010.
Ansley was eliminated after her Judge Cuts performance, a decision which received tremendous backlash on social media. Simon Cowell then brought Ansley back into AGT 2019 as a Wildcard.
At the quarterfinals, Ansley Burns was saved by the public vote via Dunkin’ Save and moves on to the semifinals along with Greg Morton, Messoudi Brothers, Voices of Service, Alex Dowis, Luke Islam and Kodi Lee.
