Magic Mike XXL is a comedy-drama film directed by Gregory Jacobs and written by Reid Carolin.
This movie is a sequel to 2012’s Magic Mike. It picks up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game. The remaining Kings of Tampa are ready to throw in the towel but they want to have one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach with with Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them.
The film was released on July 1, 2015, received generally positive reviews from critics and grossed USD 122.5 million against a budget of USD 14.8 million.
