The nominees for the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards has been announced by D’Arcy Carden and Ken Jeong on July 16, 2019.
Game of Thrones set the record for most Primetime Emmy nominations in a single year, with 32 nominations. Its home studio, HBO, earned 137 nominations overall, also setting a record for the most nominations for a network in a single year.
The awarding ceremony will be held on September 22, 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California, and will be broadcast in the U.S. by Fox.
