‘The Amazing Race’ 2019 (Season 31), also known as The Amazing Race 31, has aired its finale on June 26, 2019.
After 10 countries, 18 cities, and more than 25,000 miles, it was an exciting race to the finish for the grand prize of USD 1 million.
The Amazing Race 2019 started out with 11 teams, each consisting of contestants from previous seasons of Big Brother, Survivor, and The Amazing Race.
In the finale, the top 3 teams who battled it out in the last leg of the race were all from previous Amazing Race seasons, namely Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran, Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl, and Colin Guinn and Christie Woods.
The teams’ final tasks were to rappel down a Detroit skyscraper, play a game of fowling, make five vinyl records, and assemble a drum kit.
In the end, it was the team of life partners Colin and Christie, who emerged as The Amazing Race winners. In second place is the team of Tyler and Korey, while the team of Leo and Jamal came in third.
FYI, Colin and Christie, finished 2nd in The Amazing Race 5 way back 2004.
