The third season of reality competition TV series World of Dance 2019 on NBC has just concluded and Indian dance crew The Kings, has been judged as the winner.
The Kings is a 14-member dance group from Mumbai, India who previously won Season 3 (2011) of India’s Got Talent and placed third at the World Hip-Hop Dance Championship 2015, according to Mashable India.
Ever since their performance during the Qualifiers round at NBC’s World of Dance 2019, where they got a high 97.7 average from the judges, The Kings has been one of the most popular contenders in the competition.
With each performance, they wowed judges Derek Hough, Ne-Yo, and Jennifer Lopez with their creative choreography and mostly jaw-dropping jumps and tricks.
The Kings gave it their all in their finale performance and the three judges gave them a perfect score of 100. Their final routine looked like an action movie on stage, complete with fight scenes, some in amazing slow motion. They performed to the music “O Fortuna (Camina Burana)” and “Aadevadanna Eedevadanna”
