James Holzhauer is now the third-highest overall winning “Jeopardy!” contestant behind Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings, and the second multimillionaire in regular game winnings on the show.
Brad Rutter won a total of USD 4,788,435 from regular and tournament games of “Jeopardy!” while Ken Jennings won USD 2,522,700 in 75 episodes in 2004.
James Holzhauer now holds the record for single-game Jeopardy winnings of USD 131,127, which he set on April 17, 2019 and the biggest regular play winnings in five days (USD 298,687).

The Las Vegas math wizard’s average winnings of USD 78,413 per episode exceeds the previous all-time single day record of USD 77,000 by Roger Craig in 2010. It also reportedly exceeds the estimated USD 43,000 per episode talent fee of host Alex Trebek.
If Jeopardy winner James Holzhauer continues his winning streak, he will likely overtake Ken Jennings’ record by the 3rd or 4th week of June.
