Jason Momoa’s reaction to the ‘Game of Thrones’ finale was as epic as the show’s last episode.
Momoa played the role of Khal Drogo, the Dothraki warlord who was Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) husband in the first season of the American fantasy drama television series ‘Game of Thrones’ (GoT). Khal Drogo was a brutal warrior, but he was a devoted and loving husband to Daenerys, his “Khaleesi”. He died in the first season of the series.
During the Game of Thrones finale, Jason Momoa went live on Instagram as he watched the last episode of Season 8. Though he thanked writers David Benioff and D. B. Weiss of GoT, his overall reaction to the GoT finale was one that a lot of fans can relate to.
Jason Momoa raged as Daenerys Targaryen was killed by Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and put out a lot of expletives when Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and the rest of the surviving characters talk about Bran Stark as the ruler the Seven Kingdoms. Momoa’s reaction? “Who gives a f**k?”
For a lot of fans, Jason Momoa echoed their disappointment with the Game of Thrones finale, especially with what happened to the story of one of the most beloved characters in the series, Daenerys Targaryen.
In real life, Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke are close friends. Jason Momoa said “Khaleesi I love you. Emilia I love you. So sorry I wasn’t there for you.”
