This fantasy adventure series is based on the global bestseller series of the same name by Philip Pullman.
The first season follows Lyra, a brave young woman from another world. Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children, and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. In her journeys, she meets Will, who joins her in her magical and dangerous adventure through parallel universes.
Before airing its first season, the show was already renewed for a second series of eight episodes.
