The announcement was made by Hilary Duff on Instagram. She showed off her engagement ring with a couple of selfies with her fiance. She wrote:

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma were first linked together in early 2017. They broke up in March 2017. Then, in September 2017, Hilary Duff hinted they were back together.
Back in June 2018, Hilary Duff announced that she is pregnant. She and boyfriend Matthew Koma had a baby girl on October 25, 2018. They named their daughter, Banks Violet Bair.
