After a family tragedy, 8-year-old American boy named Wes (Jacob Tremblay) tells his parents (Vera Farmiga and Marton Csokas) that he believes he is a Mongolian goat-herder. Wes leads his family to Mongolia for a soul-searching journey, where he is joined by a young filmmaker named Ismail (Suraj Sharma).
This adventure comedy-drama film written and directed by Jordan Roberts is based on the short story of the same name by Robyn Joy Leff.
