This movie follows the story of a young boy growing up with his father on a largely uninhabited coastline of Southern Australia. He rescues three orphan pelicans and forms a close bond with the three.
“Storm Boy” is a 2019 Australian drama film based on the novella by Colin Thiele of the same name. Thiele’s novel was previously adapted in 1976. This adaptation is directed by Shawn Seet and stars multi-awarded actor Geoffrey Rush.
