After starring in the highly successful movie “Bird Box“, which was reportedly seen by over 80 million households worldwide, American actress Sandra Bullock (age 54) is teaming up with Netflix again.
According to Deadline Hollywood, Sandra Bullock will produce the comic book adaptation of “Reborn”, together with Roy Lee and Mirin Yoon for Vertigo Entertainment. Mark Millar and Greg Capullo will be its executive producers.
Although there’s no definite announcement as to who the lead stars will be for “Reborn”, sources of Deadline Hollywood say that Sandra Bullock could most likely top bill the movie.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Chris McKay aka Chris Taylor of “The Lego Batman Movie”, is slated to direct Bullock’s next project on Netflix.
“Reborn” is a comic book series written by Mark Millar and Greg Capullo. It follows the story of an octogenarian named Bonnie Black, who dies in a Manhattan hospital, but finds herself reborn as a younger woman in Adystria.
Bonnie meets her old family and friends in Adystria, which is a land full of monsters and dragons. But her husband who died before her, was missing.
Together with her late father, Bonnie embarks on a quest to find out where he is.
The “Reborn” movie is still currently in development and no definite date has been set as to when it will stream on Netflix.
But with a big star like Sandra Bullock on board, movie buffs are more than willing to wait.
