Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile is a 2019 American biographical thriller film directed by Joe Berlinger and written by Michael Werwie, starring Zac Efron as serial killer Ted Bundy. Lily Collins, Kaya Scodelario, John Malkovich and Metallica frontman and rhythm guitarist James Hetfield also star.
First announced in May 2017, principal photography on the film began in January 2018. It had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2019.
