A man stranded in the Arctic after an airplane crash must decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his makeshift camp or to embark on a deadly trek through the unknown in hopes of making it out alive.
This 2018 Icelandic survival film is directed by Joe Penna and written by Penna and Ryan Morrison. It has an approval rating of 92% on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.
On April 12, 2018, “Arctic” was selected to compete for the Camera d’Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and it premiered on May 10, 2018 at the same festival.
