Brian Justin Crum, the 4th placer in ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 11, advanced to the finals of ‘America’s Got Talent (AGT): The Champions’ on January 28, 2019.
Singing Sir Elton John’s “Your Song” in his own style, Brian Crum (age 30) impressed the audience and the judges with his incredible performance.
Brian started his cover on a very high note and proceeded with his brilliant spin on one of Elton John’s most popular songs.

The audience were up on their feet, and so were the judges after Justin Crum’s performance.
Howie Mandel said:
You are a brilliant singer, performer, consummate professional and you are a champion, you are a winner. It’s amazing, I would imagine our 50 states are now clicking. Only one more spot to go through. I think you just locked it in young man, I do.
Mel B exclaimed, “That is how you put on a killer, killer performance. My God, you just smashed it…You’re brilliant.”
Heidi Klum commented:
I mean you can sing. You can just sing so beautifully. I feel it when you sing. I’m right there with you and you command that stage like no one else. I mean you’re so special and I love seeing you again today.
Simon has this to say about Brian’s performance:
So much has happened since we saw you. Whether it’s “The Greatest Showman”, whether it’s “A Star is Born”, there is a shift, there’s a change in music and this is where you should be. You should be singing those kind of songs. You have an absolutely amazing voice, amazing voice. This was in a different league to anything you’ve done before. I’m very proud of you Brian and the 50 states voting, I think you have a shot up to that, I really do.
And the Superfans from 50 states did vote for Brian Justin Crum, advancing him to the finals of ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’.
Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin placed 2nd in the Superfans vote while comedian Drew Lynch and mime act Tape Face were tied in 3rd place.
Brian Justin Crum will join singers Susan Boyle, Angelica Hale, Cristina Ramos, Paul Potts, and Kechi Okwuchi, as well as stand up comedian Preacher Lawson and extreme knife throwers Deadly Games in AGT Champions finals on February 11, 2019.
The next batch of AGT and Got Talent finalists and champions will compete on February 4, 2019 for the last two slots in the finals.
