American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande (age 25), performed the title track of her upcoming fifth studio album, “Thank U, Next”, on “The Ellen Show”, Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Ariana’s performance was inspired by the iconic dance scene of the 1996 comedy hit “The First Wives Club” which starred Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn.
Ellen posted a teaser of Ariana singing “Thank U, next” on her Instagram account and Ariana, as always, looked divine.

The song “Thank U, next” is about her 4 exes (Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson, Malcolm James McCormick aka Mac Miller) who taught her different lessons. But in the end, she says that it was “Ari” she found, who taught her lessons too, and she does not need to search anymore.
Ariana Grande will go on a tour in 2019 titled “Sweetener World Tour”, which will promote both her “Sweetener” album and her upcoming “Thank U, Next” album.
