Aside from Disney, Warner Bros is now also into rebooting its old animated classics. One of those is Tom and Jerry which they will turn into a blend of live-action with CG animation.
Tom and Jerry is an American animated series released in 1940, created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It is about the rivalry between Tom (a cat), and Jerry (a mouse). The two always try to kill each other.
The new Tom and Jerry movie will be directed by Tim Story who directed Fantastic Four, and Ride Along.
Tim Story is still working on the new Tom and Jerry movie story and the film is expected to have a release date of 2020.
Tom and Jerry’s first film adaptation was released in 1992 titled “Tom And Jerry: The Movie”. While the other one titled “Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” was release in 2017.
