Filipino actress, film producer, screenwriter, Bela Padilla (age 27), won the Best Actress award at the 25th Annual Filipino International Cine Film Festival hosted by non-profit media arts organization, Filipino Arts and Cinema International (FACINE).
The festival was held on October 19-22, 2018 at the Roxie Theater, 16th St, San Francisco, California, USA.
Bela Padilla won Best Actress for the romantic comedy movie “Meet Me in St. Gallen” which was released on February 7, 2018. And was directed by Irene Emma Villamor.
Bela Padilla’s co-actor on “Meet Me in St. Gallen”, Carlo Aquino (age 33), won Best Actor as well.
Overall, “Meet Me in St. Gallen” bagged 9 awards at the festival including Best Film, Best in Cinematography, Best in Aural Design, Best in Visual Design, and Best in Editing.
