Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer announced in May 2015 that the planning for ‘Now You See Me 3’ had already begun. It was later confirmed that Lizzy Caplan will be reprising the role of Lula May. Also, Benedict Cumberbatch, will be the new cast member in ‘Now You See Me 3’.
It was confirmed that Isla Fisher will not be returning to the ‘Now You See Me 3’ movie as Henley Reeves, after her absence from the second film, ‘Now You See Me 2’.
It was announced in December 2016 that writers Neil Widener and Gavin James will write the screenplay. [ref]
