BTS aka Bangtan Boys, the world-famous South Korean boy band, will perform as special guest on America’s Got Talent (AGT) on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
The American talent show competition, America’s Got Talent, is now on the semifinals round of its Season 13 edition and airs on NBC.
The announcement for the appearance of BTS on America’s Got Talent made everyone of the BTS Army (the collective name for BTS fans) excited.
Before the announcement though, the current AGT host, American TV producer and former model Tyra Banks (age 44), already gave a hint on Twitter about BTS as special guest on America’s Got Talent 2018.

Two hours after the said tweet, she asked BTS fans to watch America’s Got Talent on NBC for a special announcement. And indeed less than an hour later, AGT announced that BTS will be a guest on the show next Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

BTS is quite busy with their 2018 world tour titled “BTS World Tour : Love Yourself“.
The BTS ‘Love Yourself: Answer‘ album is currently number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, becoming their second album to debut at number one on the said chart, after ‘Love Yourself: Tear‘ which was released in May, 2018.
The BTS band’s music video ‘Idol‘ broke American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift‘s YouTube record of gaining the most views on YouTube within 24 hours of its debut. ‘Idol’ gained 45 million views in 24 hours compared to Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do‘ which had 43 million views.
